My Journey to Tailbone Length Hair

So . . . I am taking the big first leap here.  I have always struggled with my hair it seems. Once it gets to APL (armpit length), I do something silly to it. Nope-not this time!

As of today, I am past APL and grazing BSL (bra-strap length).  My hair is relatively healthy. I am relaxed and have un-colored hair.  I have not had a cut, although I did dust my ends last year. I do plan on doing a cut around the summer time.

I usually wear protective styles. I use a mild relaxer. I do want to gradually go back to blonde, but not as light as before. I'll likely do some ash blonde highlights later in the year.
So here is the plan:
  • No direct heat
  • Wear protective styles 95% of the time
  • Co-wash 2x/week
  • Keep hair/scalp clean and moisturized
  • Eat healthy/exercise
